It was my first ever cub camp. I was a bit nervous and a bit excited. It was for seven sleeps. My most favourite activity was archery. We also did swimming, air gun shooting, peddlecars, rounders, badminton, climbing, fast stack, made rockets, plaster of paris but we haven't painted it, adventure courses and the rabbit run. I couldn't believe it when I got there. It was really happening. We had to put our beds up. The food was okay and I tried lots of new things. I learnt lots of new songs and I made new friends. I can't wait for next years camp. I loved this years camp. If you get bit nervous Akela is like a mum to you so you don't have to worry about being away.
Photos of Wednesday through to Saturday morning are now available here.
All the cubs and scouts had a great time - check back soon for some first hand accounts of the week from some of the campers.
Here is the Tiger Six's menu for the cooking competition on Wednesday night. Looks good to me!!
Apologies to everyone waiting for information from the camp - we seem to be having some technical issues. Skip and Akela have been unable to send any information back yet but we will keep trying and will post updates as and when we get them.
Welcome to the Summer Camp mini-site. Use the navigation bar to view information about the camp.
During the camp week, we will endeavour to update the mini-site on a daily basis with information and pictures of the cubs' and scouts' activities.
